Step 2. You realize its for companions and stuff only. Can't imagine a player finding it interessting staying in a fief and doing nothing 24/7. Well i'm in the beginning of my kingdom and I have to wait before going to war so waiting in a settlement to get moar money or perks related stuff would have been nice :D
Hunt down bandits. You can do this yourself or make clan partys. They will patrol your fiefs and hunt them down . This will allow villagers to make it to town and sell food, thus increasing the modifiers of each type of food. Spec to village growth. You can get several perks accelerating village growth mainly in steward.
Tips for capturing your first settlement please! As you need it to become a kingdom, so cant raise an army, therefore have limited troops (say130 ish) as nobody will follow you. Playing on realistic and would rather find a way that doesnt involve temporarily dropping the difficulty if possible.
Step 2: Siege the city and take it. At this point, attempt to kill off the leader of that rebel faction or they will eventually join a kingdom of their culture. Step 3: repeat the process of taking over cities that have rebelled. You need to be tier 4 before you can start a kingdom, and it would be good to save up money and bolster your cities
Hello here is my problem(and I guess I'm not the only one, so sorry if someone already asked for it cause I didn't find it) : After starting a new game, I didn't want to be part of any kingdom. So I managed to get my clan lvl 3, I did all the quests for the banner(so I get the full part), but now, the quest ask to get an imperial or non imperial settlement. At lvl 3, I only get 107 soldiers
The biggest source of construction is either prosperity or dumping money into the storage that drains over time to add construction. I think the governor only speeds up the construction by a percentage, but doesn't add any so it won't improve if it's 0 construction. Check your loyalty and security of the castle.
The Spicevendor. can give boosts to settlements through their associated stat boosts. The culture of your governor is important too. If the governor is from a culture that the settlement is from, it will increase loyalty by +1, but if the governor is from a different one, it will decrease by -2. The only info I could find on issues is that garrisons need to be of the same culture of the settlement, so I removed all other troops so only Battanian troops were left in the Battanian settlements garrison. It had no effect and I'm still getting -5 due to "issues". this problem might be related to your kingdom's laws. you might want to check
