Ford Focus (1998 - 2004) - 04 1.8 TDCI (100) Dual Mass Flywheel (again). The question I'm hoping for an answer to is what causes a DMF to fail? This car is now on its 2nd replacement DMF in 52,000 miles (1st replaced by dealer under warranty at approx 38,000 miles, 2nd at my expense by an independant specialist at 52k).
I may be looking for a focus diesel and it would be handy to know which engine to go for. The 1.8 (Lynx) is an old Ford design that goes back to the 80's. The 1.6 and 2.0 are newer Peugeot-Citroen
ok, mines a 1.6 tdci 2008 mk 2.5, for me its position 124 (LHS) and 125 (RHS) 7.5A, in your manual it should list the fuses, their location and rating, the front and rear side lights are connected to the same fuse for each side, are both sides toast or is it just one side?
